He did make it sound like it was fairly easy... Perhaps he sut used
editbin (on wrote a sample) to invoke get the _new_ checksum (without
the reversal effort).

What I want to do is a little more involved. Similar to the following.

Article of interest is 'Reversing CRC - Theory and Practice'.

I corresponded with one of the autrhors, so I have their source code.
I'm just not convinced this is a CRC any more.
