Hi All,

An FYI to cut down on the chatter of questions. My apologies I left so
many things unanswered in the article.

Subject: ECB and Generated Parameters

Hi Marcel,

I hope all is going well. I find the Crypto++ mailing list is fielding
lots of Product Keys based on Elliptic Curve questions. Most questions
can be clarified in the article (which I will be revising shortly).
The article is located at
http://www.codeproject.com/cpp/ECIESProductKey.asp. The revisions will
include basic EC theory to explain what the parameters mean.

However, I could use your help. Certicom requires Domain Parameters be
over the interval [0, p-1]. At times, ECB will offer negative values.
Would it be possible to offer a check box in ECB that enforces
something similar to "Use Positive Values for Parameters"? This is
something I cannot fix.

I know we briefly talked about this in the past. It seems the most
expedient way to resolve the issue (and keep us from answer the same
question over and over).

Thanks In Advance,
Jeff
Jeffrey Walton
