I think I am just going to start from scratch and make sure crypto++ is installed in my repository ok and built properly first (which I dont think it is now) so I can just use the simpler "gcc -l libcryptopp auth.cpp -o authentication" command to compile.
I got confused at the readme as it said make sure you use gnu make and gnu ld to build from the makefile. After spending a bit of time searching the internet I could not figure it out so I think all I did was " make -f gnumakefile" from the directory in my documents. What command(s) is needed to make sure the library is built and integrated properly and found in the /usr/bin/ld folder etc? As at the moment I dont even have a /ld folder in that directory! Sorry for all the silly questions and thanks for the help. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the "Crypto++ Users" Google Group.
