The ZIP file: files were in Linux/Unix format (LF only). It was a
minor inconvenience for the *.sln file, since the Visual Studio
selector did not recognize the VS version.

Otherwise, cryptest built with stock settings using VS2005:
* all tests passed: Intel P4 (Windows Vista)
* all tests passed: dual Intel PIIIs (Windows XP)
* all tests passed: Intel PIII (Windows XP)
* all tests passed: Intel PIII (Windows Server 2003)
* all tests passed: Intel PII (Windows 2000)

Finally, a list of object dumps when running 'cryptest v" under the
debugger (seems par for the course - mentioned for completeness).
