It depends where you want to intercept the data. We had to do the same
thing a while back and wrote our own filter (it was for xor) to achieve
this. If it helps then check out

the XOR function. It was not that difficult. If you wish to handle
this
differently then it's best not to use a pipeline. I am rushing out the door
so cannot go into this too much just now. Hope this helps though.
