Though bit late, but still if it has not been resolved : Under 
%ProgramFiles%\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\Platforms, copy the "Win32" 
folder and rename the copy to "x64" then try reloading the project with 
visual studio, hopefully it will get converted.
