It disables SOLIBNAME gear by default. It effectively means it goes back to 
original behavior.

Folks who want SOLIBNAME gear will have to:

    $ make -f GNUmakefile-cross lean HAS_SOLIB_VERSION=1

I think those defaults for mobile and embedded are more sane for most users.
