To those using MSYS/MinGW or Linux: I've just checked in some tweaks to the shared library support in CS, and I think it's now worthwhile to give it some testing. So, if you check out a bleeding edge CS CVS, perhaps consider building it with shared libs enabled (pass --enable-shared to configure), and report back on your experience.
VC users: no DLL libs yet. Probably some time later... OS/X users: Having no real idea on shared libs on OS/X, I don't know whether or nor the current unix shared lib stuff works on OS/X... -f.r.
