I have been working on a new celstart app. In the download link below you can download a statically compiled version of celstart (from CEL). With this application people can make games using XML or Python scripts without any C++ coding required. To demonstrate this I also included three different demos (bouncy.zip, boulderdash.zip, and celdemo.zip). Boulderdash and celdemo are old and you may know them already. I just updated them so they work with celstart. Bouncy is an unfinished game I made a long time ago using physics (a bit like a pinball). The point of all these is to demonstrate that you can make full games using only scripting. Crystal Core will also be made with this technology.
To use this just download celstart.zip and extract it somewhere. Then extract the game data files inside the celstart directory and execute the batch file that is in the new dirs. http://www.crystalspace3d.org/downloads/celstart/ Note, celstart.zip is for windows only but the game data files are platform independent. So if you compile CS and CEL you should be able to use your self-compiled celstart to run them. Let me know how things go. In the future I will also add documentation for this and put them on the CS site in a more prominent place.
