I can't believe it's been (nearly) 10 years. Wow.
This is definitely a hallmark date for not only CS developers but also
independent developers across the globe. Hitting a stable 1.0 release will
accelerate not only new projects but existing ones as well.

Today is a historical day. After nearly 10 years of development we
finally released version 1.0 of Crystal Space. In addition Crystal
Entity Layer 1.0 is also released.
Together with this new release we also completely revamped the Crystal
Space site. The new site now uses mediawiki instead of tikiwiki. I
hope you like it. It should be clearer now and easier to navigate. It
also looks a bit nicer IMHO.
