In this case, probably something went wrong with the blind-conversion
of the OSX "assistant" to new SCF. Filing a bug report
(http://trac.crystalspace3d.org/trac/CS/newticket) may be warranted:

Preparations are under way to make the 1.2 stable release (at some
point), so best would be to file bug reports (and patches) against
either the development trunk or the 1.2 branch rather than against the
1.0 branch.

Also be sure that you are consulting the forums on the CS web site
(http://www.crystalspace3d.org/forum/) rather than the old CS forums
at SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/forum/?group_id=649) which have
been abandoned.
