So you don't have to blame all CS community/contributors; the delete was performed by me and Andres, mostly me. As pointed out they are saved in the mediawiki history though and can be retrieved.

Sure, but the same goes for misinformation. Misinformation in other languages than English are as likely to spread as the English ones; but a majority of the CS contributors or developers don't understand those other languages and therefor cannot correct them. > > IMHO, to want to retreat the wiki into "English-Only" is totally > counterproductive. I disagree. Better have one page with good information in one language than bad info in many. Unite the resources spent on translating pages to instead improve the English ones. > > As for "Better non-existent than outdated", you can, at this rate, > delete 3/4 of all the articles (in english) in the wiki, which are > either incomplete or outdated. Or spend your time actually fixing those (or at least pointing out the problems, there is a bugtracker for the homepage:) instead of translation. > So now, could you delete my account and all informations about me in > your wiki and mailing-lists. Thanks. The info in the wiki you can delete yourself as much as anyone, your account I could delete. As for the mailinglist; the archives are public in several places not managed by us, and subscriptions are managed by SF.net so there is nothing we can do there. > > Have a nice day. -M ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Crystal-main mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/crystal-main Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
