So you don't have to blame all CS community/contributors; the delete was 
performed by me and Andres, mostly me. As pointed out they are saved in 
the mediawiki history though and can be retrieved.

Sure, but the same goes for misinformation. Misinformation in other 
languages than English are as likely to spread as the English ones; but 
a majority of the CS contributors or developers don't understand those 
other languages and therefor cannot correct them.

I disagree. Better have one page with good information in one language 
than bad info in many. Unite the resources spent on translating pages to 
  instead improve the English ones.

Or spend your time actually fixing those (or at least pointing out the 
problems, there is a bugtracker for the homepage:) instead of translation.

The info in the wiki you can delete yourself as much as anyone, your 
account I could delete. As for the mailinglist; the archives are public 
in several places not managed by us, and subscriptions are managed by 
SF.net so there is nothing we can do there.
