Ah, fantastic idea! I've been thinking it would be good to have something like this. On the other hand, the manual is in the source tree, and (I believe) updated to the web every so often (nightly?). So, maybe we should have a discussion on whether we want it in wiki format or in the text2html format in the source tree, so that we don't have to maintain two of them?
