So my proposition is improve collada import plugin. I would like to add support of collada with it' extensions. So here is a schedule: 1. getting familiar with existing collada code in cristal space (7 days). 2. extending exiting possibilities of collada import plugin making architectural changes (21 days). 3. testing, bugfix, code review(7 days). 4. implementation of collada FX basic support (21 days). 5. testing, bugfix, code review(7 days). 6. improving and existing functionality writing documentation.
