Hi,

fulfilling the point 1.3 of current manual, I am writing you to also
satisfy your curiosity, about project I would like to try implementing
in Crystal Space (seems to be version 2.0, will address it as CS, if you
don't mind)

The reason is actually quite simple: I was watching some oss developers
presenting their ideas on conferences (videos posted on the internet)
and I mostly saw people using OO or LibreOffice presentation or even
proprietary MS Powerpoint and It felt little sad, that creative oss
developers are not so much creative in this area. Also as part of my
living I am using the same presentation software (mostly LibreOffice)
and I would use prezi, but I somehow don't like it ...

I think the game engine could be able to do quite decent job in this
area without even breaking a sweat (correct me if I am wrong). I have to
admit that CS wasn't my fist choice, I have tryed to start in all in one
environment - Blender - but it didn't went as I expected (too many
troubles with inaccuracy in 3D etc)

So the step zero for me is to finish instalation of CS under mingw for
start (yes I am following page 2.4.5 at manual)
and then - as step one - I want to make simple program which will
manipulate view (camera/world) to move between three predefined points
in space (with changing rotation, angle etc) in defined frames/time.
That will be the base (I have ideas about whole software already, but
I'll leave it for later).

I will hopefully come to you then, but I am open to suggestions/good
advices.

kind regards

Peter
