Gentlemen:

The copy of xcscope.el that lives here appears to be stable, so I
started a new project with JUST xcscope.el:

I don't consider this a fork, since the in-tree code doesn't really
change.

The main changes are listed at that page. This new code is now
distributed in MELPA and in Ubuntu and in Debian. As I said before, this
tree fixes bugs and adds features, but tries not to break anything or
change any functionality that existing users may rely on.

I ask that at the very least a note be added to the in-tree xcscope.el
to point users to the new tree. If yall agree to do this, I'll reply
with the bug tracker and patch tracker entries that have now been
handled.
