Hi folks, Just a quick note from the CSForum moderator here who stands between you and offers of colloboration from Nigerian bank managers....
If you want to reply to someone specifically about something posted to the Canterbury Software Forum list, do please try to remember to use their email address, rather than replying back to the Forum. If you do the latter, I'll intercept and pass the message on directly to the person it's apparently intended for. I'll cc you to point out what I've done in case you really were intending the whole forum to see your email (but I don't seem to have got it wrong yet :-). It's great to see that many of you are responding to Forum postings for help, advice and assistance (keep 'em coming!), but we'd like to be sure that the stuff that comes via the Forum it is of interest to or intended for the group as a whole. (I'm sure we've all got more than enough emails stuffed in our new mail folders...) So please make it easy folks, and check that your email is going where it's intended. In an attempt to boost efficiency as part of this system, we're testing a new spam filter to try and make life easier. My apologies to James for putting his recent posting through with a spam label -- I'll try to ensure it doesn't happen again! While I've got your attention, if you're getting two copies of hyperLINK, it's probably because you're seeing the Forum copy as well as getting the one that goes directly to the old BBQ list. We've tried to clear the obvious double-ups, but you can always stop the BBQ/HyperLINK one coming to you by using the form on the News page to drop one of the copies.
