Registrations for the 'walking the talk' workshop will be closing today.  Take the 
opportunity to strengthen your marketing skills to optimise your communications, 
branding your firm for success
An overview is shown below:
1. Establishing the basics:
- defining your market
- who is your customer
- what are they buying and why should they buy it from you
2. Communications planning:
- what is your strategy
- what objectives fall out of that strategy
- how many audience groups do you have and what are the key messages for each group
3. Creating Buzz - which mediums to use:
- different media - NZ and global
- pro's and con's of each
- D.I.Y. or Do it for me
- measuring effectiveness
4. Building your brand
- what is a brand
- what are the benefits of having one
- brand equity
- what have you got
The main focus will be on areas mentioned in item 3 "Creating the buzz" and 4 
"Building your brand". The issue of marketing budgeting will also be addressed.
Each segment will have a practical workshop attached to it where participants will 
engage in the practical aspects of what we will be discussing.

Warwick McCormack has spent the last 17 years immersed in the advertising industry. He 
has extensive working experience in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. In the last ten 
years in New Zealand he has headed major international agencies in the fields of 
database marketing, direct marketing and brand advertising. He is also an accomplished 
conference speaker. His client list has included many of New Zealand's most important 
companies and covers many industries.
