Hi folks, Hope y'all are rested after the break and not too frazzled already -- there are signs of a pick-up in the IT world globally after a quiet year or two, so let's hope that bodes well for the New Zealand industry in 2004.
If you want to get a good head-start, come along to tomorrow's CSI Workshop on International Software Success through Project Management (2-5pm, at Cii, 200 Armagh St), which is being presented by Patrick E.J. Rottiers. Having been to a previous workshop by Pat, I'd say it would be well worth the time to come along and listen to someone who knows our industry well and has a lot of good information to impart. We've had excellent speakers at CSI workshops, and I'd rate Pat as one of the best I've seen. We're providing some afternoon tea, so please let the CSI facilitator, James Saruchera, know you're coming -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] or call him on 378 0097 And if you've forgotten what the Elevator Cafe is all about (or where it is!), that's on this Friday from 5.30pm at Cii, to be followed by the Tech BBQ. A great chance to find out what other folk are doing or (if you're a CSI member) to let people know, practice presentations, get some feedback from a friendly, informed community.
