often
neglected by small companies. You can still register!

WORKSHOP INFORMATION:

DATE: Thursday 26h February 2004
TIME: 2.00pm - 5.00pm Afternoon tea provided
COST: Free
LOCATION: Canterbury Innovation Incubator, 200 Armagh Street,

OVERVIEW

Market research can often be difficult to undertake, and expensive if
you employ the services of marketing consultants (one Focus group can
cost up to $2,000 if done properly). This workshop will explore how
software companies can investigate and conduct their own research,
including the investigation of off shore customers. The presenter has
experience in selling and researching software products to large New
Zealand companies, and international markets. If you have collected
research before then bring along the questions and results for
discussion.

Topics include:

- Developing what you want to find out
- The best methods of collecting information
- Designing questions
- Internet research
- Creating an action plan
