I've been to one of Patrick's workshops before, and he was excellent,
so I suspect this would be well worth attending if you're thinking of
doing a show. (And probably even if you're not :-)

Trade fairs have got to be one of the most expensive, and less cost-
effective, means of getting attention, but there are a lot of things
you can do to significantly improve your bang for the buck.

Here's one thing we've found useful: we always check out where the
media lounge is and try to get a stand next to it or on the route
nearby possible -- if you're at a large enough show where they give
the media folk different coloured tags, it means you've got a good
chance of identifying them as they go past and grabbing them. That
can
be worth more than having a big a central stand, and a lot cheaper to
rent!
