Hello folks, Here's what's new this week on http://CanterburySoftware.org.nz: * In the Resources section, an excellent overview and analysis of how and why clusters work, contributed by Sue Stubenvoll of KPMG * Also in that section, a detailed and very helpful contribution from David Armstrong, IT editor of The Press, on how best to get your news and views out to the public * With similar aims in mind, the Newsfront section on the home page now has a simple form you can use to share your good news with the rest of us -- export-related successes, new resellers, new markets, new products, whatever. Please don't be shy! * If you're planning events which may be of interest to CS members, a new form has been provided on the Events page to make it easy for you to give us detailed information about it. And do keep a regular eye on the Events page... * The Tech Directory continues to grow. I had a great experience with it on Wednesday when our company received an inquiry from an Auckland/UK concern. They needed services which I felt we were not best equipped to provide. A quick keyword search later, and I was able to point them at two other Canterbury companies, courtesy of the Directory. Many thanks to all those who have sent in their membership applications this week, via the Web site or on paper. If you've not done so, a quiet Friday afternoon might be a good time to think about it: http://CanterburySoftware.org.nz/join.htm Have a weekend, everyone... cheers, peter ============================================ Peter Hyde, WebCentre Ltd & SPIS Ltd, Christchurch, New Zealand * Web automation for online periodicals: http://TurboPress.com * TurboNote+: http://TurboPress.com/tbnote.htm -- handy onscreen notes and instant messaging --> via Canterbury Software email forum: success through connections Email your messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Leave or join the list at http://canterburysoftware.org.nz/forum.htm
