'Doing Business in Japan: Prospects for Growth' follows the Foundation's
successful National Business Seminar series on Korea and China. The half-day
sessions, sponsored by HSBC, will feature business people who have
successfully entered the Japanese market. 

The Asia 2000 Foundation is holding a half-day seminar in Christchurch on
Monday 5th November, which will focus on the Japanese market. An excellent
line up of international business leaders who have successfully entered the
Japanese market will share their insights. This half-day seminar is designed
to provide a practical guide to identifying and successfully managing market
opportunities in Japan and includes strategies that work best in Japan,
understanding Japanese business culture and consumption patterns and trends.

They will share their insights into Japan's "New Economy", consumption
patterns, opportunities for New Zealand exporters, strategies for growth,
and Japanese business culture.

Of particular interest to Software Cluster People will be:
Terrie Lloyd, a New Zealand entrepreneur who heads one of Japan's
fastest-growing web content and systems engineering companies.
