I don't have my server.cfg handy but I thought I'd chip in with some
performance reports.

I was running a server on a virtual machine with just 256MB RAM and a very
low powered processor just to play with RCON commands. I forgot to set a
password so quite soon four other people joined and we starting playing -
the server ran perfectly smoothly with no noticeable lag which I was
*very* surprised
to see.

I can't give more CPU details due to it being a VM I did not create myself,
but the same machine really struggled under similar load running CS:S. All
that being said, this clearly isn't a very scientific measurement of
performance and I may have just got lucky!
