I don't have my server.cfg handy but I thought I'd chip in with some performance reports.
I was running a server on a virtual machine with just 256MB RAM and a very low powered processor just to play with RCON commands. I forgot to set a password so quite soon four other people joined and we starting playing - the server ran perfectly smoothly with no noticeable lag which I was *very* surprised to see. I can't give more CPU details due to it being a VM I did not create myself, but the same machine really struggled under similar load running CS:S. All that being said, this clearly isn't a very scientific measurement of performance and I may have just got lucky!
