still no luck, i have even added -debug to the command line, but i cant fine
where the debug.log goes, cant find it anywhere or if it even created it,
i have also deleted the /steam directory, but still nothing. if tried
running it all diffent ways.

Source dediacated servers dont require root priveledges to install/run. Do
not use su command. Also, if you have other source servers, downloaded
through HLDSUpdateTool, delete folder /home/USERNAME/Steam (this not affect
another servers at all, this sirectory just as cache dir)

Check if your files are chown'ed as the correct user (don't run as root!),
check if your files are set with chmod +x to make them executable.
