?It worked for me earlier when i manually tried typing the app_update 740 validate into the Steam console. I got similiar errors as you did, even though it should have been worked. Could be an issue with locales or something else.? Hmm, rather than copy/paste maybe the problem is I should type it in by hand ... nope ? both give the same error.
