If you set the price to 17000 on a particular item it cannot be bought. This is
configurable in the weapon_* files within the scripts directory.

If you want to run 2 servers at the same time you need to duplicate all of
the server files. If you want to use the same server then just make 2
shortcuts with different command line switches for each server.

I would say this is just untill the game ships. Its so not anyone can get
the files. Once the game ships it will be on hldsupdatetool.

I've been trying for a few hours now and I can't see to figure what is
going on, but whenever I type "STEAMEXE=steamcmd ./steam.sh," I get the
  following error messages:

  [csgo1 at host steamcmd]$ STEAMEXE=steamcmd ./steam.sh
./steam.sh: line 49: ulimit: open files: cannot modify limit: Operation not
  permitted
  /home/csgo1/steamcmd/linux32/steamcmd: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version
  `GLIBCXX_3.4.10' not found (required by
  /home/csgo1/steamcmd/linux32/steamcmd)
  /home/csgo1/steamcmd/linux32/steamcmd: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version
  `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by
  /home/csgo1/steamcmd/linux32/steamcmd)

Current OS is CentOS 5 32-bit, the libraries it seems to be looking for,
from what I gathered, are 64-bit libraries. So I thought what the hell,
I'll install 64-bit centos 5, the last 2 messages above didn't come up but
then I got one about 32-bit libraries...

Both times were on fresh CentOS 5 installs, yum update/upgrade. I've also
gotten this issue with Debian 6 32-bit.

The first line I'm also not sure about, am I alone in this??

  hi,

I know that when you create a "cfg" folder inside the maps folder and then
you put "map_name.cfg" files inside it , you set map specifig cvars.

But know I want to specify the weapon progression of arms race per map.
(For example , i want only deagle to exist for a deagle map)

How to do that? These commands only appear at the gamemodes.txt .

Not sure of this is the right place but there's a few issues I'm running into
with steamcmd running on Linux.

  * constantly says its updating and checking for updates even during execution
of commands

  * logging in for the first time mentions nothing about needing a steam guard
key entered. This is more of a nuisance since its explained in the install
guide but it might be a good idea to notify through the app that a key is
required.

  * for some reason when I try to login via a script I pass to it it hangs on
login and becomes unresponsive with no error code. Not sure what's up with that
but having to manually update my server is kinda annoying.

If I'm doing something wrong here please let me know. I've got my server up
its just those little things that are bugging me now heh

  Hi,

I can't install the server due to this error popping up (ERROR! Failed to
request AppInfo update, not online or not logged in to Steam. )

I am logged in and have steam guard disabled. Tried this on two servers
now. One is CentOs 5.2 other is Debian Squeeze. Anyone got a fix for this?
