Yeah, I modified one that someone else posted. Here it is:

You will need to change the 4 parameters after the bash line to match your
setup.
My steamcmd is located at: /gamedisk/csgo1
The directory that the game installs to is: /gamedisk/csgo1/csgo-ds
That assumes ./csgo-ds relative to the steamcmd location or you can put in the
full path.
The key is the + parameters when executing the steam.sh script.
I hope they get rid of the user and password like they did with the regular CSS
install.
I also just ran this command from the steamcmd directory (STEAMEXE is already
exported):
./steam.sh +login [username] [password] +force_install_dir ./csgo-ds
+app_update 740 validate +quit
So, a simpler script could be made with the values hard-coded in. Just depends
where you want to run the script from.
Don’t put a + on validate – it complains when you do.

I had a similar problem when updating yesterday, saw the same messages.
I use a script but I just ran it a second time and it worked then.
No clue as to why it fails the first time and then works the second…
