Are we supposed to receive 64-bit binaries for steamcmd or cs:go?
Hence the invalid platform error...

We've got OpenSUSE x64 11.4

As I see, the problem is wrong simblic link to linux64 dir, wich is
absent. Every time the update starts, it rewrites all links to it
defaults, so manually changing the path to linux32 does not help.

So what can be done to fix this?

In the other way, all of our old clients, who already had servers
installed under their acount, do not have any problems and update
works just fine.
