See if this helps you. There was a lot of talk on worklshop stuff last week.

Well the suggestion to delete those files came before the useless "fix" of
the map problem, so I don't think that it is "the correct approach" - it's
just a convenient work around and nothing more.

Mistakes happen, but I can understand why they didn't roll out an update to
delete the files -- they could delete legitimate files that were already in
place. While the mailing list (and by extension, community) did find a
workaround relatively quickly it would have been nice to see some official
confirmation that this was the correct approach to take to remedy the issue
instead of just hoping or waiting for an update.

Hindsight 20/20 I guess.

Subject: Re: [Csgo_servers] Workshop Map Issues

Confirmed.

But why are they deploying files, which are created from the server?
Again I've worked around valves mistakes. I've to exclude this files in my
script, to getting over 200 server working with workshopmaps.

My servers are also working fine now:

Ubuntu 12.04 Server
Metamod Source 1.9.3
Sourcemod 1.5.0 hg3890 snapshot

Removed the 3 files:

subscribed_collection_ids.txt
subscribed_file_ids.txt
ugc_collection_cache.txt

I would like to add to this conversation that my Windows server is not
having any trouble running Workshop properly. It loads each map without
trouble whether the server switches the map or an admin manually does. No
switching to stock de_dust or de_dust2 by default after a map. Here are a
couple notes of things I have done:

- running the 1.6.0-hg4023-windows development version of Sourcemod
- removed subscribed_collection_ids.txt & subscribed_file_ids.txt from csgo
directory
- removed maplist.txt & mapcycle.txt from csgo directory
- verified libstdc++.so was in bin directory (folder above csgo. if it is
not you can get it from your backup prior to the last update)
- put // in front of 'mapgroup mg_bomb' & 'map de_dust' in the autoexec.cfg
file in csgo/cfg directory
- moved nextmap.smx to from sourcemod/plugins to sourcemod/plugins/disabled

I hope one of those things might be able to help someone out. All of the
other plugins seem to be working as well. Good Luck!

Sourcemod is not responsible for map change. I have it installed. and will
setup another server without it to verify that is not the issue.

As Peter Svensson posted previously, delete these three text files and then
restart your server:

subscribed_collection_ids.txt
subscribed_file_ids.txt
ugc_collection_cache.txt

That should allow you to change level.

By the way, I didn't have this on previous updates.

I have the same problem, I can switch to any normal map not in the workshop,
but when you try to change to a workshop map you get:

Skipping new version check for file id 125488374, next check in 549.35
seconds

and it doesn't change.

2013/8/19 ics <[email protected]

If you run Sourcemod, it will propably be the cause for your problem.

After about 2 hours of browsing the lists and websites, my server finally
loads a workshop map on start up. authkey in file and collection and start
map in cmd line.

But every time the server goes to change a map it goes to dust2. The
workshop collection is just ignored.

Anyone else seeing this issue?

Side note (workshop needs better implementation, not that the idea is bad.
just no documentation on it that is clear to a new comer.)

Subject: [Csgo_servers] Assistance with Workshop

I keep trying to get my server to host my Workshop collection...it doesn't
work. I set the parameters and the server doesn't load, my host shows that
it is running (the command lines were active) but the server doesn't show on
HLSW until I remove the command lines. I have ALSO tried doing them in the
server.cfg and get the same result. I DO have the api authkey in the command
line and that works.

I am OK with just getting some maps from gamebanana.com but I would like to
support those who have items on Workshop.
