According to steam devs, this was due to an update last night that caused some
extra load and backed things up, theyre aware of it and expect it to clear soon

Subject: [Csgo_servers] steamCMD updated does not work anymore - Failed
toreceive license info

Hi,

I tried to update my servers but it does not work anymore. I always get the
following error:

Connecting anonymously to Steam Public...Failed to receive license info.

I tried:

1. updateing the servers with ./steamcmd.sh
2. updateing the servers with ./steam.sh
3. updateing the server with ./srcds_run -autoupdate -steam_dir mydir
-steamcmd_scrip my script..
4. Clean install on a new server by downloading the steamcmd tool from
http://media.steampowered.com/client/steamcmd_linux.tar.gz as mentioned in the
wiki https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD

All ended with the same error. Here is the output after downloading the
steamcmd tool from the wiki and doing a fresh install on a new server:

admin@test1:/customer/123/steamupdater$ ./steamcmd.sh
Redirecting stderr to '/home/admin/Steam/logs/stderr.txt'
ILocalize::AddFile() failed to load file "public/steambootstrapper_english.txt".

The second run:

admin@test1:/customer/123/steamupdater$ ./steamcmd.sh

I tried on multiple servers with Debian 7 (stable) and never had such problems
before. Can please anybody confirm that the update tool is broken at the moment?

Thanks
Tim
