Could be also steamcmd being just "stuck" and not doing it's job. It
happens much less than before but the fix is to re-install steamcmd to
another dir and run it from there. At this morning, speeds for updatng
were not that great for me. If it's just taking long, could be that the
content servers are busy at your area and the download happens from far
away one that is more or less crowded also.

That's a full hard drive or wrong owner or wrong path normally.

anyone having trouble updating their installs? SteamCMD keeps crapping
out on me:
Steam>app_update 740
Initial App state (0x406) installed
App state (0x10506) reconfiguring, progress: 0.00 (0 / 0)
Error! App '740' state is 0x606 after update job.

And that is EXACTLY why leagues and "true" competitive players won't
play it. Random factors shouldn't be included in maps.

The chickens are a stage hazard. Part of the level.

Thanks for the update
Please remove the chickens from Inferno and add a cvar to let
them back in. I'll bet no servers use it ;)
Leagues are refusing to use it due to the Poultry.
The rest of the Inferno changes are good so it's a shame to
spoil the map with random stuff.
And YES they do make a difference... Competitive players will
understand.
