Rumour (and propably suspected cause) is that Valve is getting Ddossed
really hard right now. I guess the cs teens don't like to have their
favorite teams on losing csgo matches.

We can only wait. Steam has been offline for a couple of hours, and
I’m 100% sure that they are aware of the issue by now. Reporting the
issue on the mailinglist won’t have an effect, unfortunately.
