Once upon a time there was a dev who used to send warning email and update notes as soon as the update was released. Then there came the dark ages and the devs disappeared and chaos began. There was a sense of Mad Max like fury around the mailing list. Why oh why have we been deprived of being the lucky ones to receive warnings and patch notes. Why Volvo must you deny us server operators a simple email right as the update comes out. Why oh great overload have ther forsaken us. Please Valve, I would like to return back to the Golden Ages of being the first ones to get patch notes.
