Hi,
To my understanding you only see a small fraction of the servers available.
A good way to find your server is to set the right sv_tags in your
server.cfg, then you have to type at least one of the sv_tags in your
server browser and hit refresh.
It will then list ALL servers that have the common tag.

I thought Valve mostly categorized servers via latency? Especially
since I'm seeing servers in my browser list for Europe, Russia, US,

Valve changed their master servers to work upon Geo-Location a
couple of years ago.
You can only find your server if it's in the same region as you.
Valve uses this this <https://www.ip2location.com/demo> to compare
both your home Geo-Location and the server's Geo-Location.
sv_region isn't really used anymore. You may still set it to your
region though. It does seem to have somewhat of a impact on if the
server shows up but it's 99% geo-location.

After the GSLT update, several of my servers fail to come up
on the server browser.
Each server instance has their own GSLT token. All the
servers come up as "success" on the API. However, I can't seem
to find them on the server browser.
Hell, only one of my server, the one closest to me
geographically, comes up on the server browser.
Anything change recently since the GSLT?
Does sv_region factor into anything?
