Canals was made by Valve 100%. Iikka Keränen visited Venice, and got
inspired. Did the map and there it is.

are the operation maps. Nuke, inferno, dust2, even shortdust are all
on the workshop under their account and not just compatibility version.
But where is canals? Did valve forget to add it or was the map

Workshop only has the compatibility versions of Valve made maps
for backwards redudancy so overwatch demos can be viewed if map
has been updated . The recent most current version is on your pc.
As for community maps, those can be found from the workshop, and
your pc too if they have official status (been in operation).
