We are aware that due to a Steam outage yesterday a large number of community servers were unable to download the latest build of the game. At this time, we believe that the core issues causing that problem have been resolved. Please try updating your game server(s) one more time to get the latest version:
ServerVersion=996 PatchVersion=1.37.1.8 Apologies for the inconvenience, and GL HF! -Vitaliy From: csgo_servers@list.valvesoftware.com <csgo_servers@list.valvesoftware.com> On Behalf Of Kristin Adderley Sent: Tuesday, October 8, 2019 05:59 To: csgo_servers@list.valvesoftware.com Subject: 6 hours for the server update to be fixed? I suppose this list really isn't used much any more (mostly for the best given previous arguments), but I was surprised to see no mention of last night's update. What was the cause / fix? From an outside perspective, it looked like the update went through, but the server version reported didn't match the client version so nobody could connect. My server provider sent 28 emails seeing a new update, and I tried running the update script personally to see what was up. The update did seem to go through but nothing changed. I only run a non-often-used retakes server, but I'm sure other server owners were more badly affected, and third-party systems like Faceit also were. azalea _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/ _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/
