I have never tried the "-enablefakeip" launch option in CSGO, I only ever used it in TF2.
FakeIPs is not persistent though, it changes every time the server boots. Its intended to be used with a GSLT and the server browers favorites tab. The favorites tab will automatically show the same server with the same GSLT even if the IP changes. I am not sure if the server browser part properly works yet, last time I tested it a few months ago the server did not show on the server browser at all but that might have changed. (I saw some people spam fake servers with what appears to be the FakeIP system so maybe it works now?) For CS specifically maybe in the future with CS2 Valve will add SteamID based connections, which also automatically use SDR, then you should be able to connect to the server by just entering its SteamID and with a GSLT the SteamID never changes. If I remember correctly S&Box (Another Source 2 game) does it like that.
