you've done it with the body element, yes. But * {...} means ALL
elements - body, tds, lis, uls, h4s...everything. Remove all
margins/pads, then put them back when you need them. For me, mentally,
it works wonders. Again, it's a matter of preference. Your current
rule only effects the body, and im pretty sure nothing inherits
margin/padding.
