Seen recently on Usenet: Java is to JavaScript as Car is to Carpet. I suspect you really mean JavaScript (since doing a drop down menu as a Java Applet would be somewhat insane). There is nothing wrong with using JavaScript to control the behaviour of a menu, it lets you add essential usability/accessibility features (such as a time lag before the menu vanishes allowing you to return the pointer to it if you dragged it off by accident). -- David Dorward <http://dorward.me.uk><http://blog.dorward.me.uk> ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
