I'm trying to create a navigation tree that uses explorer-like lines and will work in IE6 and Netscape 7.1. It uses nested ULs for the tree structure and is styled with CSS to add the plus/minus icons and tree lines. When it's all done, a bit of Javascript will be applied to expand and collapse the nodes by mucking around with class assignments.
I'm almost there on the visual appearance - it looks right in Netscape but in IE there's a slight gap between the lines. Take a look at the following in IE: http://home.comcast.net/~rob.freundlich/css/tree/index.html Notice the vertical gap between the lines on "View 1", "View 2", and "View 3". Does anyone have any idea where that is coming from and how I can get rid of it?
