A Magik Creeping Border? Anyone an idea?
I haven't any idea of what exactly this bug is... With a slightly modified
version of your code, the problem is there since the beginning (no need to
have a link and to click it), and moving another window over the "extra"
border, parts of it are not correctly repainted. So it looks like a sort
of peek-a-boo or similar rendering problem, caused by lack of hasLayout on
container including floats.
Thank you Bruno. The need for a nesting of the bug appearance and the
fix by position relative /or haslayout the grandparent does remind me on
the disappearing list background bug, and the inconsistent repainting
you reported would match, but here is a float and a line-height needed
too in addition.
I think it's something new. Miraculous are the ways. Cindi's fix by
removing the background didn't fix it on my testcase.
