If you narrow your window until the Save Link 'buttons' begin to wrap to
the next line you will see that the left padding disappears.
Confirmed on IE6/WinXP.
One option is to apply
#maincontent a.saveLink { _display: inline-block;}
/* underscore hack to hide it from the others */
inline-block lets the link more act as an entity.
