Styles that apply site-wide

Styles for the home page only (when that's significantly
different
from the rest of the pages)
How do you actually include each file in the html then? I have never
worked with more than one style sheet...
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style/global.css" type="text/css"
media="screen" />
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style/index.css" type="text/css"
media="screen" />
Or is there a different/better way?
