Are you having difficulty in any browser other than ie?  I tried your
test page in recent versions of ff, safari, and ie/mac and no crashes,
and in both safari and ie/mac the floted content matched the screen
when viewed with print preview.  Firefox had a strange positioning
problem of the upper left floated box on page 2 and following.

Can you give us more info about which browsers and oses are failing?
