I seem to ask impossible questions, but perhaps this one will actually
be the exception. :) (even if the answer is no) Actually, probably
not, but I have to try!!

I have a gradient background image behind several of my headers
(repeat-y) and would like to know if CSS has any tricks or methods to
get the image to resize when the user increases or decreases the font
size. I've seen examples of normal, inline images being resized [1],
but have not found any mention of the background image having this
capability. In my case, I'm not concerned with the height resizing or
not, but am focused on the width expanding and contracting. I'd
*prefer* to not create extra <div>s to put the graphic in and then try
to get that div to be 100% the on-top div's height, width, and position,
but I know no other way.

TIA
