Luckily the user base for the application is quite limited (at least for the time being) and will be (mostly) Windows PC based, so that helps. Most PC's nowadays come with mice ;)
Unfortunately, in trying to make an application such as this one as user-friendly as possible, accessibility and backwards-compatibility kinda goes out the window .. it's a trade-off between the two. I normally try and use JavaScript only as a fallback option, but in this case it's going to need it.
I'll stop here before going too much off-topic.
