Try adding:
#news {display: inline;}
...to avoid the margin-doubling bug in IE/win. Works on a copy at my end.
(also thought the ie7 javascript had fixed most Microsoft-specific
browser issues.)
I took it out, and couldn't see any any difference :-)
Have never used it myself though.
