It's a float drop [1]. It could be related to the overall width 
calculation (70% + 30% > 100%), since the dropping varies depending on 
the window size on most pages I've tested. Might be that the IE italics 
bug [2] interferes depending on the wrapping of the oblique Q's.

A negative margin-right of -3px (served only to IE) should do.
