- The header-image is rather big. You can sharpen this image in a paint program, and then save it as jpg again, but now with about 25 to 30% compression. That gives a lossless smaller amount of kB's (40 instead of 49 kB), as you can see in this test-image <http://home.tiscali.nl/developerscorner/css-discuss/images/bush-regeneration-nw.jpg>. - You can combine the html- and css-validation images in 1 image, that is one http-request less (traffic between visitor and server). - You can also combine the images left.gif and right.gif, and show the good part at a certain position by background-positioning. - And if you want to see a working tab-hovering, I made some time ago a testpage <http://home.tiscali.nl/developerscorner/css-discuss/paulwalker-francky.htm> with comments in the source code. Succes, francky ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
